Basic Facts Reaction to Maggie e-mail

Providing us with a video allows us to concentrate on remembering the content, and delivering the message in a compelling way.
I am not sure I can get 3 hours (3, hopefully consecutive) with the other math teachers at my school.

I can appreciate that, David. Like I said, if 3 hours is not do-able, we can talk about how we might package it differently. But can we try for 3 hours first? I really get concerned with the message with less than that.

Thanks for your comment.

Yes, I think that the video will provie me with an excellent tool, especially at the elementary level. At my present position as a Lit. and Math interventionist (if I may call myself that), I work with students who are struggling in both Literacy and Math so, to me, this video is worth a million dollars!! They have been taught the traditional and differentiated ways, so my tool box needs to have more:)

I will talk with my principal and draw her feedback so I can make a decision. I assume that these 3 hours have to be completed before the course ends......?

Thank you Maggie.
